Technical problems


If you're having trouble with your new Altia Systems product, please visit our support pages or contact us by email or telephone.
Altia Systems wants you to be thrilled with your new purchase. However, if you need to return an item, we're here to help. If you want to return an item, you can ship the item back to Altia Systems. You have up to 30 calendar days from the time you receive your item(s) to initiate a return.

 


How to Return


To ship your return item(s) to Altia Systems, you must first contact Altia Systems Support by telephone or email. Altia Systems Support staff will help you diagnose the issue (if any) and provide an address label and packing slip after you verify your return details. We will issue you an RMA number as well to identify your product through the return cycle.
Affix the address label to the outside of your return box. If you have multiple items to return, you may pack them in a single box with the packing slip. We recommend using the original packaging.


If you are returning the camera for any other reason other then technical issues, you must pay for return shipping and handling. Please call Altia Systems to have an RMA number issued, which you must identify on the outside of the box, and please include on the inside of the box as well.


Once we receive the item(s), we will fully inspect the item to check for any exterior damages or alterations any part of the product (including the camera, cables, table stand or wall mount). If there are any blemishes that are beyond reasonable wear and tear from less then 30 days of use, we will not issue a refund. We will also inspect the camera electronically, to see if the camera is still in good working order (all LED lights work, camera still produces a video image, etc.). If we find anything prohibiting the camera for electronic functions, we will then open the camera chassis and inspect the electronics inside. If there has been any modification, changes, or removal/addition of any parts, we can not accept the camera for return and will not issue a refund.


Limited Warranty


Use of this product implies consent to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please return the unused product to the place of purchase within 5 days for a full refund, excluding shipping.

 

Limited Warranty - Altia Systems warrants that the hardware will conform to the specifications and will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 90 days from date of original purchase. Your sole and exclusive remedy and the entire liability of Altia under this limited warranty will be, at Altia Systems’ sole discretion, to repair or replace the defective product or issue a refund of the original purchase price, excluding shipping, if the product is returned to the party supplying it to you, freight and insurance prepaid, within the warranty period. An original sales receipt is required for warranty service.

 

Restrictions - The above warranty does not apply if the product (a) has been altered, except by Altia Systems or its authorized representative, (b) has not been installed, operated, repaired, or maintained in accordance with instructions supplied by Altia Systems, (c) has been subjected to abnormal conditions, misuse, negligence, or accident; or (d) is provided for beta, evaluation, testing or demonstration purposes.

 

DISCLAIMER - EXCEPT AS SPECIFIED IN THE LIMITED WARRANTY, ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED CONDITIONS, REPRESENTATIONS, AND WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, NON-INTERFERENCE, OR ACCURACY OF INFORMATIONAL CONTENT, OR ARISING FROM A COURSE OF DEALING OR TRADE PRACTICE, ARE HEREBY EXCLUDED TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW AND ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED BY ALTIA SYSTEMS. To the extent an implied warranty cannot be excluded, such warranty is limited in duration to the express warranty period. Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, the above limitation may not apply. These warranties give you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. This disclaimer and exclusion shall apply even if the express warranty set forth above fails of its essential purpose.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY - ALTIA SYSTEMS INC IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOST REVENUE, PROFIT, OR LOST OR DAMAGED DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF CAPITAL, COST OF COVER, OR FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES HOWEVER CAUSED AND REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY OR WHETHER ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE HARDWARE OR OTHERWISE AND EVEN IF ALTIA OR ITS SUPPLIERS OR LICENSORS HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow limitation or exclusion of consequential or incidental damages, the above limitation may not apply to you. IN ALL CASES, ALTIA SYSTEMS’ LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OR MISUSE OF THIS PRODUCT SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE LESSER OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OR $1000.

 

Miscellaneous - The venue for all legal proceeding shall be a court of competent jurisdiction in the northern district of California, USA.
